Legacy Adoption Services

Alex and Brooke

Hi!  We’re Alex, Brooke, Elijah, Nolan and Lucille

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We hope that as you learn about different families you would feel love and peace as you make the difficult decision of who will parent your child.  Please know that we are so grateful for you and are praying for you and your baby every day.

Adoption has been on our hearts and minds since we were first married.  We weren’t sure how or when it would come to be, but we both knew that it would. We are so thrilled to be adding to our family through adoption and our children are so excited to welcome a new brother or sister.

We hope that you can see our love for Jesus, our family and others.

We pray you find strength through this difficult journey and that the Lord would give you comfort and peace.  You are strong, courageous, and so loved.

With great respect and love,

Alex and Brooke

A Little About Us

About Brooke (by Alex):

Loving, caring, resilient, intelligent, and compassionate are just a few words to describe Brooke as a wife and mother. She adores being a mother and getting to stay home with our children.  She is poised and graceful yet silly and fun all at the same time. She is a talented artist, with the ability to create new and wonderful things out of something old.  She loves photography and spending time with the family.  She can often be found crafting, baking or reading with the kids. She loves to teach them fun, new things. Watching her as a mother has given me some of the greatest memories of my life.

About Alex (by Brooke):

Alex is one of the most kind and compassionate people I have ever met. He is loyal, humble and self-sacrificing.  He enjoys his career in IT and has a passion for learning new things. He is a gifted drummer and athlete and enjoys working with his hands. He loves to share his passions with the kids and helps them to cultivate their own.  He supports, encourages and loves me and our children so well.  He truly delights in his role as husband and father.  He is a pillar of strength in our family and always keeps things light with his goofy sense of humor.

Meet the kids:

Elijah is our most active child.  He loves to be on the move and hops from one activity to the next. He has such a sweet and tender soul. He likes to cuddle and comforts any one in need.  He has a knack for 300 piece puzzles that always impresses us.  He loves action figures and creating marble mazes.  He cherishes his relationships with his siblings and our extended family.

Nolan is our thinker.  He is always asking us how things work and why certain things happen. He loves to build Legos and is a great artist.  He has never met an art project he didn’t like!  He tends to be the lookout for his siblings. He takes his job as big brother and big cousin very seriously. He is so kind, gentle and wise beyond his years.

Lucille is the sunshine in the room.  Her laugh and happiness is infectious.  She adores her big brothers and wants to do whatever they do. She has no problem expressing her sassy little personality to them.  She loves Daniel Tiger, playing kitchen, drawing outside with chalk and playing house with her babies.

Our Life

How we met:

Alex and I met during a summer home from different colleges. We became instant friends and then started dating.  We were married in 2008 and have enjoyed over 10 years of marriage.  We truly are great friends and enjoy being together and creating little adventures for our family.  We were blessed to welcome our twin sons in 2012 and our daughter in 2015.  We strive to put Jesus at the center of our marriage and our family.

Our life:

We love spending time with extended family, most of whom live near us in North Texas. We are grateful for their love and support. We love museums, zoos, parks, and playing outside.  I always have a camera in my hand, attempting to capture these sweet moments.  We also love to stay home and enjoy simple things like, baking, building forts, watching movies and playing board games. We love dance parties in the kitchen and singing as loud as we can. We like to celebrate things big!  Birthdays, holidays, accomplishments and more are met with decorations, parties, and special dinners.  We enjoy being involved in our church and growing in our faith.  We are so thankful for this sweet season of life and we try to soak up every minute.
