About Us
The Story Of Us
We met while in college in 2011 and were engaged just two years later. We were married in 2014, and welcomed our first son in 2017. We loved learning how to be parents together, and we found so much joy in being a little family. We added another sweet boy in 2020, and have truly enjoyed our time as a family of four. As our boys have grown, we have both felt that we are ready to welcome another child to our family and our so excited to see our boys as big brothers to another sibling.
While dating, we spent a big portion of our time long distance. Although we met so young, we both feel like that time brought a lot of growth and maturity to our relationship, as we had to learn strong communication throughout our time apart. That has overflowed into our transition to parenthood, as we have to rely on strong communication to be the best team.
Throughout our relationship, we have experienced many changes and trials and we both feel that we have never been stronger. We are teammates in every aspect of life, and we hope our children grow to deeply know how much we not only love them, but also how much we love each other. We believe that a strong household begins with us, and we take that responsibility seriously.
Our Family
The holidays are a big deal in our family! We both grew up always loving the holidays, so it was something we wanted to bring into our own little family. We decorate for Christmas on our wedding anniversary, which is something we started in our first year of marriage. We spend the month of December really enjoying the holiday season with visiting Christmas lights, ice skating, and decorating cookies. We are lucky to have family close, and we love that they get to be a part of our celebrations!
