About Us

Our Story

Our story began in 2011 when we matched on an online dating app. At the time, we were both in graduate school studying physics (Justin) and chemistry (Stephanie) and were each looking for a kindred spirit to connect with. Justin couldn’t help but notice Stephanie’s radiant smile and clever profile – it was an instant decision to message her! We ended up chatting non-stop about our dreams of family, careers, and our love for travel, realizing common interests and goals, and the rest is history.

Since then, we’ve built a life filled with laughter, mutual trust and interests, and unwavering support for each other. From traveling to new places to building new Lego sets, every moment has strengthened our bond. We’ve visited the Grand Canyon and Sedona in Arizona, attended the Indy 500 race in Indianapolis, and enjoyed visiting the museums and monuments in Washington, D.C. Our journey together has been one of discovery and growth, and we complement each other in many ways. We provide each other emotional support in trying times, and enjoy spending time with our friends and family during the holidays.

Our Family

We have blended family traditions that we have grown up with: turkey and dirty rice for Thanksgiving, Italian food at Christmas, brunch on Easter, grilling on Memorial Day, and seeing the fireworks on July 4th. Along those lines, we like to decorate our house for the different holidays and seasons. When our families are all together, we enjoy going to local festivals and exploring, learning about the local culture and history. We look forward to including a new child in these traditions.

Our Home

Our Home

We purchased our home in 2021; it has a spacious backyard and multiple common areas - we love it! It is located in a cul de sac, with lots of other families and kids. We enjoy living in a cozy suburban neighborhood that contains a dog park, walking trails, neighborhood pool, and multiple fishing ponds. The area is known for its friendly community and excellent schools.

Final Thoughts

Some Final Thoughts

Dear Expectant Mother, First and foremost, we want to express our deepest gratitude for considering us as potential parents for your child. We are truly humbled by your strength and courage, and we have deep respect for the difficult decision you are making. Please know that our hearts and home are open not only to your child but to you as well. We deeply believe in the value of open adoption. We want them to understand their roots and the love and care that led them to us. Knowing where they come from is, we believe, an essential part of shaping who they will become. We look forward to sharing milestones, celebrating birthdays, and building a bond that honors your special place in their life. Thank you again for your incredible bravery and for considering us to be a part of your child's life. We are excited about the possibility of building a connection with you and creating a beautiful, extended family together. With Heartfelt Gratitude, Justin and Stephanie
