Loving Adoptive Parents in Dallas/Fort Worth, Jenny and Mike

For a long time, we’ve dreamed of welcoming an adopted child into our home in Dallas/Fort Worth. Because of this, it is our greatest honor to have the chance to support your decision by providing your child with a life filled with opportunity and security. We would put everything we have into the role of adoptive parents and take great care in fulfilling the responsibility you and Legacy Adoption Services have so thoughtfully bestowed upon us.

Part of our desire to become an adoptive family is the amazing parents we grew up with.

We were both raised by loving couples who poured their all into nurturing our well-being, morals and dreams. We want to do the same for the child we will be lucky enough to invite into our family. Our parents would be thrilled to have more grandchildren, which would enhance the unconditional love your child would receive.

In addition to our strong family, we have a wonderfully supportive group of friends and a church community that is always there to lift one another up. The church would welcome our adopted child with open arms and make them feel immediately loved and appreciated. It’s our hope that this community, our solid family system, strong values and an endless supply of love would help your child plant deep roots, allowing them to feel secure enough to blossom in every way and live the life of their dreams.

These roots would be planted in Dallas/Fort Worth.

We live in an area that is filled with kind, young families and is a wonderland of towering trees, green grass and parks. This area has many of the best schools in the region, including an amazing elementary school near our home.

As time passes, we would expose your child to our many outdoor interests, such as gardening, tennis and football. In addition, our nieces and nephews, whom we often take to the park, would be elated to have a new cousin to push on the swings and play games with. We can only imagine how special it would be to include an adopted child in our family outings to the peach orchard, holiday celebrations and joy-filled birthdays.

But we don’t see the building of our adoptive family as simply us imparting our interests and values onto the child. Through our experiences as foster parents, we’ve learned that children often provide us with much wisdom and opportunities for growth. We’re constantly amazed by the deep wells of insight children have and look forward to growing alongside our adopted child.

We’re in complete awe of your selfless decision to provide your child with the means to live the life you want for them. We can’t even imagine how challenging this journey must be but hope to soften the edges by pledging to give your child unconditional love. All our heart, soul and strength would be poured into creating a safe and happy family.

As you are a sacred part of your child’s life, we hope to keep in contact with pictures and letters. We are open to developing a relationship that feels comfortable and supportive for all involved. We’re confident Legacy Adoption Services will help us navigate this process.

We thank you for bringing your wonderful child into the world and want to acknowledge how truly courageous you are. Thank you for considering our Dallas/Fort Worth family as a forever home and safe space for your child to thrive.

How We Met

We met initially 20 years ago in a class at UT Arlington.  We stayed in contact after that and began dating seriously in 2011. It took us some time to know we were right for each other but quickly realized it was meant to be!

About Us

We both have very distinct and differing personality types. Together though, our personalities complement one another well. We very much enjoy going to church and participating in the children’s ministry. It is so wonderful to see the pure way that children look at God. Children are often our greatest teachers. Jenny and I share hobbies together such as sports and exercise. Tennis, football and basketball are sports that we either watch or play. Jenny and I have gone on exciting trips to Hawaii and Europe since we have been married. A really cool highlight was swimming with sea turtles in Maui. Our neighborhood is very kid-friendly with several close by parks and plenty of young families. We enjoy  biking and walking around the neighborhood.

Our house has three of the best kitties.  We are both huge animal lovers! The cats names are Rafa (after Jenny’s favorite tennis player Rafa Nadal), Ollie (his adoptive name which follows his personality) and  Percy (also his adoptive name which suits him well). They are all spoiled and receive lots of attention and love.

We all have lots of love to share and are excited about what God has in store for our family. Wherever your journey leads you, we hope you find comfort in knowing your sacrifice means more than words could ever say. May you find the perfect loving family you seek.
