About Us

How We Met

We met at the gym and started dating a few months later.

Robbie was a director at the gym and Erin was interviewing for a personal training job. Robbie was in her interview as they would be working together on a research study. She was offered the job and began her research. We had weekly meetings but remained friends and co-workers for about 6 months before ever going on a date. Once we started dating, we enjoyed spending time boating on the lake, hanging out with friends, going to football games, and traveling. About 8 months later, we got engaged!

The proposal did not go as planned, as Robbie had wanted to do it on the boat on the lake at sunset. Of course, it poured rain on the day he had everything planned. Robbie ended up taking Erin to a restaurant and surprising her with all of her friends from near and far. He popped the question and she said yes!

Fast forward a year and a half to our wedding day. The ceremony was held in the church that Robbie grew up attending. We had almost 300 guests in attendance and had a fun reception out on the lake. It was an amazing way to start our married life together!
