Playful Adoptive Family in Fort Worth
Becoming an adoptive family in Fort Worth is one of the most exciting roles in our life thus far. We have been married for about 4 years and absolutely love our life together. When we decided we were ready to start building a family, we unfortunately discovered that it wasn’t going to be as easy as we had planned. We pursued infertility treatment, but were again unsuccessful. Thankfully, God used this heartache to strengthen our relationship with each other and showed us the path of adoption. We couldn’t be more excited to build our family through adoption and are so grateful for this opportunity.
After asking much discussion and research about adoption, we decided adoption through Legacy Adoption Services in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas was the direction we wanted to go. We knew it was the perfect way to grow our family, as we’re blessed to be in an ideal place to welcome an adopted child into our home.
You can rest assured that if you select us as the adoptive family for your child, they will live in a very safe Tarrant County neighborhood where community is a top priority. For example, there are many kids in our neighborhood whom you can seeing running and playing games together on a regular basis. We enjoy this community so much and look forward to raising our children here with a swings in the backyard.
You can usually find us playing a board game with friends or having dinner with our extended family. Rachel has a heart for children and was previously an elementary school teacher. She now volunteers at our church nursery. Robert is excited for his new role as well to guide a child through life.
One of our favorite destinations has become Galveston. We love the history and the beach. On vacations we like to relax, see the sights, and visit museums. We also love to take cruises. A couple years ago we took a cruise with Rachel’s family and Robert’s family and had a blast! We will definitely continue family vacations and extended family vacations in the future, hopefully with little ones in tow! However, we recognize how important it is to provide solid roots for children, so we often stay close to our Fort Worth home during these early years.
If you decide to move forward with us, we promise to love your child with all of our hearts all of the days of our lives, Support them to set them up for success, Encourage their dreams and ignite their imagination, Pursue laughter and a lifestyle of happiness, Celebrate life with them and help them grow through the challenges, Overall, though, we promise to make sure that your child is happy and healthy.
We’re so excited and ready to welcome a baby into our family. Thank you for considering us.
A Little About Us
How We Met:
We met online and then found several ways that we could have crossed paths, but never did! In high school we were both part of a YMCA program called Youth and Government so were at the same conference in Austin for the state competition. We also went to the same college where we were probably in the same building together, but never met! Crazy how things work out in the right timing and we met a few years later.
