About Us

Our Story

We have known each other since we were in elementary school. We lived down the street from each other and had mutual friends. We didn’t start noticing each other beyond a friendship until we were about to start high school. Tonya had her best friend call Tommy and “ask him out” for her. After that, we have always been together. We dated all the way through high school. We have such a strong bond and we like to think its because we grew into adults together so we know each other so well. We bought our first house in 2009 and got engaged in Spring 2010. We got married April of 2011. We have been married 11 years. We moved into our current home in 2014 and have no plans on moving as we love our house and the area we live.

Once we got married we starting trying for a baby. After some time of no success, we started seeking medical help. We completed one full round of IVF that was unsuccessful. We decided to close out that chapter in our life and move forward with adoption. We know without a doubt we can love a child we bring into our home just as it was our own biological child. We have had an amazing marriage and just need that missing piece of having a family.
We are ready to share our life and adventures with a child.

Our Family

We see the whole full extended family during the holidays. This year we are planning for everyone to travel to Tommy's dads house in South Texas for a long weekend and we plan to rent boats and just enjoy each others company. Everyone is ready and excited for us to add a new little one to the family and join in on all the fun. We also plan a yearly trip to Florida to the beach. We would love to have a child to share all these memories with.

Our Home

Our Home

We have a beautiful 4 bedroom/2 bath home with lots of space for a child to grow up in. We live on 1.5 acres with lots of room to run and play outside and space for potential playground to be set up. We live in a rural community outside of the city limits that is very quiet and enjoyable. We live at the end of a dead end road tucked away for privacy. Our street neighbors are always outside walking their dogs and driving their golf carts around. The schools are only three miles down the road so it's a short drive and one of our neighbors is a teacher at the elementary school.

Final Thoughts

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our profile.

We hope that it has given you a glimpse into our lives and shown you the love that we have to share with a child. We have so much respect for your decision to consider adoption for this child. Becoming parents has always been a dream of ours and without women like yourself, that dream would never be able to become a reality. We are so excited to open our hearts and our home to a child through adoption, and cannot wait for this day to come. Please know that any child that joins our family will be loved abundantly and unconditionally. They will be given every opportunity in life to pursue their dreams and reach for the stars. But most importantly, they will always be reminded of who they are, where they came from and the love that their birth mother had for them. We wish you the best as you journey through the adoption process and decide what is best for you and your child. You will continue to be in our prayers and we hope to meet you someday soon!
