Signed, Sealed, Delivered – To Our Birth Mother:

To Our Birth Mother:

Dear Alena,

We hope this letter finds you well and just know, we think of you often. We can’t believe Daniel is already a month old! Time has passed so quickly; he is healthily gaining weight, as you’ll see his chubby cheeks in the pictures. What a cutie! We are still so thankful every single day for your gift and incredible blessing to us. It’s been such an adventure watching him grow. He sleeps throughout the night now, which my husband appreciates even more than me! He loves to cuddle and make funny faces at us. He squishes his nose when he smiles and has even stuck out his tongue at us. We are amazed with his sweet and larger-than-life personality! We can’t imagine what he will be like at a year!

He is very observant and loves studying everything around him; colors, voices, objects, and lights. He absolutely LOVES bath time! It cracks me and my husband up when we take him out of the tub because he always admires himself in the mirror. He loves when we play music and help him to dance! The song “Happy” is his favorite song. He perks up the moment it comes on.

Daniel has the most beautiful blue eyes and is starting to get more hair, which we think will be blonde. It also seems to have a little wave in it now that it’s grown a little thicker.

Alena, we cannot express to you how incredibly thankful to you. I think I speak for the both of us when I say we have never been given a more incredible gift, one I don’t always feel deserving of. He is the light of our lives and is so incredibly loved by our families, friends and everyone who meets him. We could not be parents without you. We have nothing but love and respect for you and always will.

Sincerely,
Debbie,
Mark, and
Little Daniel
