We are Dustin and Andrea,

First and foremost we want to thank you for choosing life for your baby. We don’t know what it’s like to be in your shoes or the circumstances and emotions you are experiencing. We do, however, know that we care about you, are praying for you, and believe that the Lord wants to comfort you as you navigate this season. Our hope is that as you read and look through our pictures that the Lord gives you peace.

We want you to know that we will raise every child that becomes part of our family with love above all things. We will be intentional in raising up children that are full of purpose, and who change the world around them because they are healthy inside and out.

Should you choose us to be your child’s adoptive parents, we want to assure you that we will pour love and affirmation into your sweet baby every day. We will nurture him or her in a manner that reflects life and wholeness in everything they do. Our heart is to raise children that walk in the fullness of all that God has brought them into this world to be. We want them to be inspired to dream big dreams because they know who they are, how much they are loved, and how much potential they have.

Life isn’t always easy, and we know the decisions you’re facing probably aren’t either, but if we could leave you with one last statement that may help: We are two people who have fallen in love with pursuing healthy lives, a healthy marriage, and a healthy family.

About Us

Our Story

We love doing life together. We met when Dustin was a senior in high school and I was a freshman in college. Though we didn’t start dating until 3 years later, we both remember the night we met and feeling like we found our spouse that night. As we started dating in college, we clicked so easily that we only dated for 4 months before getting engaged — and we were married less than 6 months after that.

Our lives together have been full of joy every day. We’ve had hard seasons and sad seasons, but our love for each other and our heart to provide a home to raise children and be a family has been consistent — no matter what. We say on a regular basis that we are so thankful we found each other at a young age. It helped us to grow-up together, and it has given us a very strong foundation to know and trust each other.

Dustin is the “in the moment” adventurer. While I am the “let’s make sure we are safe and prepared” one. We both enjoy watching movies and laying in bed together, but we really don’t do this often. We love being “up and at it” living life. Doing something fun around the house, playing games with our daughter (Evelyn), going to Nana and Papa’s house, and finding a fun, new park is much more the status quo for us.

We relish every day as a gift, and we try to be intentional with how we spend every moment. Doing life with family and each other is everything.

Our Life Together

Fun fact about Dustin and I: when we first met we both left the fish fry we were attending for a friends birthday knowing that we “just met our wife/husband.” Dustin actually said those exact words to his friend. And well ever since that day, almost ten years ago, we love each other even more!

We love to do DIY projects together! Since being married we have lived in two homes. Our First home we added a lot of shiplap to the master bedroom and remodeled the kitchen. The home we are in currently we have also remodeled the kitchen, added new flooring, and have painted a lot of walls. We love to buy homes that need some updating. Andrea loves interior design and putting dustin to work on the projects she dreams up! She loves to go antique shopping and garage sale hunting. She also enjoys working out at Orange Theory and going on long runs with friends. Dustin enjoys building things. whether thats a new kitchen or a new playroom, or demo-ing a fireplace (which he did in our current home). He also loves to work with leather and make leather wallets or belts and rebinding Bibles. When he has time, he also enjoys rock climbing with friends.

We love to have FUN together as a family. With Dustin being a pastor he gets every Friday off. It is such a blessing to have this day, and since brining Evelyn home we have deemed this day as, family day. We enjoy going to splash pads and water parks in the summer (the Texas summers are very hot!). We also love going to the Zoo to feed the Giraffes. And whenever we see a near by carnival we love to stop by for some rides and ice cream. We also enjoy spending time at local parks, the library, and exploring new coffee shops. And we go to Andrea’s parents house a lot to swim in their pool with the whole family.

We both grew up in christian homes and had parents who were strong in their faith. Over the years we have grown so much in our journey with Jesus both together as a couple and separately. We have seen the Father do incredible things throughout our marriage and specifically while walking through the hardships of infertility. We believe in the power of prayer and intercession through the Holy Spirit. We want to raise our children to lean on Him at all times and through all seasons of life. We want our kids to walk confidently in who God created them to be and have a deep relationship with the Heavenly Father!

- We’ve been to Italy, Switzerland, Florida, California, and Colorado to name a few.

We both love spending time at my (Andrea’s) parents house
- swimming and playing pickle ball in their backyard

Our Family

We love birthdays! We decorate Evelyn's door so that when she wakes up she sees all the fun birthday decorations. We usually have donuts for breakfast. On Halloween we usually get together with the whole family and make a big pot of chili and corn bread before going out to Trick or Treat. For Christmas the family gets together to bake Christmas cookies and we always spend Christmas day together at Andrea's parents’ house. And finally for Easter we have a big Easter Egg Hunt with all the cousins.

Our Families

Andrea's Family: Our family is very important to us! I am one of three kids. All of my siblings live within 20/45 minutes from us, so we see them often. Between the three of us there are 8 kids. Evelyn absolutely loves spending time with all her cousins. My parents only live 10 minutes up the road from us so we see them more than twice a week usually. Every Sunday afternoon the whole family get together at my parents house. My mom makes a big meal and the kids play in my parents amazing backyard. It is so special to have this time together to connect each week! Every other year we go on vacation with the whole family -- the last 3 years it has been to Gulf Shores.

Dustin's Family: We love being on the family farm in Kentucky! Dustin's whole family lives in Kentucky. His sister and her husband have one little boy we we absolutely adore, they live in Ohio. Although we don't get to see them all as often, we try to see visit twice a year! Dustin's parents usually come to Texas in the summer time. When we do go an visit, it is always the sweetest time. Dustin grew up on an Apple Orchard with cows, chickens, goats, lots of cats and a few dogs! Evelyn loves to feed the animals. We also try to go on a family vacation every other year -- usually it is to the beach.

Our Friends: We love spending time with our community group! We have a group of friends that meet every Friday night. We rotate homes and share a meal together, it is so important to us to spend time with them. Andrea has a moms group that meets every Wednesday at the church. We also get together with all the kids at local parks for play dates.

Things to Know About Us

1. We love our family! Every Sunday, the family gets together for a family dinner at Andrea’s parents’ house. It’s a tradition and all the cousins, siblings, and family spend the afternoon together swimming, playing pickle-ball, and eating!
2. We love remodeling our home together! Every couple of months, we choose a project to work on. Whether updating a room, bathroom, or doing something to our yard — we love doing home projects together!
3. We have both always wanted to have a big family (3-4 kids) that loves doing life together!
4. We complement each other perfectly! Andrea is from a big city (St Louis) while Dustin is from a small town (in Kentucky); Andrea enjoys the beach while Dustin enjoys the mountains; and WE BOTH love coffee!
