1. Call Legacy Adoption Services at 888-429-6004. Our counselors are available 24/7 to meet with you to discuss your options, answer your questions and provide support throughout the process.
2. Decide whether you want to commit to a last-minute adoption plan. Identify the things that are important to you and your baby.
3. Meet the adoptive family you have chosen, and take photos with the baby and the family if you want to remember this moment.
4. Sign placement papers.
5. Send your baby home to his or her loving, forever family, and NOT to foster care if CPS was otherwise going to take possession of your child.

The Legacy team will continue to manage the paperwork and legal requirements associated with the last-minute adoption, at no cost to you. Our counselors will be available to help you handle the emotions that follow childbirth and big decisions.
