Our Story

We met in Virginia the summer after Katie graduated college and had an immediate connection. We started out as good friends and soon after fell in love. We live in a small town in the northern DFW area with our two small dogs Sophie and Riley. We are both enjoy spending time outdoors, trying out new restaurants and taking in the orchestra and plays. We both love to laugh and have fun just being together.

Josh is honestly my favorite person on the planet. He is very kind and brings out the very best in those around him. He is a safe place and provides comfort and sound advice. He is very generous and has a beautiful heart. Josh is truly my best friends and I am so thankful for him.

Katie is one who loves deeply.  She is compassionate, nurturing and selfless.  She always makes time to comfort and friend or family member in need.  Katie’s tender heart comes through in her love of animals—especially her two dogs, Sophie and Riley.  She is warm and kind, generous and thoughtful. She is an amazing listener and always offers sound advice.  Her smile and joyful personality are contagious.  She has a wonderful sense of humor and loves to laugh.  Katie is optimistic, always finding the good.  She is a beautiful person inside and out.
