About Us

Our Story So Far...

We first connected in 2013 through an online dating site. After some convincing… Cynthia agreed to go on a date. We went on a double date with Cynthia’s cousin to Carino’s Italian restaurant and that is where our story began. We were engaged in 2015 and married in the Catholic church in December 2016. Since then, we have tried to grow our family, but due to to unforeseen fertility issues, we have been unable to do so. Although this was very difficult to come to terms with, we see this as a gift from God, to be able to grow our family through adoption.

We have had our ups and downs, but we always come through the hard times together. To us, our relationship is very strong and we attribute that to how well we communicate with each other. We talk about everything… from our days at work, to family and whatever is bothering us at the moment. We could not have made it though the fertility challenges we’ve faced without being open with each other and supporting each other. We make each other laugh, being silly and no matter what we both agree that we will keep a smile on the other’s face and show love and affection every day.

Christian is a very hard worker and has always been that way. He works full time as an Operator/First Responder in a chemical plant. He has a great sense of providing for our family and no matter how hard his day is, he always comes home and showers me with love and affection.

Cynthia works full time as a Bookkeeper for the local county office. She also works hard to make our home just that… a home. She knows when I’m having a hard time and can always pull me out of a funk by making me laugh, or showing me that she loves me know matter what.

We like to think of ourselves as a team and that we can handle any obstacle that comes our way together.

Our Family

Traditions in our family include mostly celebrating anniversaries, birthdays and holidays. One of our favorite holidays is Christmas. Christian and I decorate the Christmas tree together, usually the day after Thanksgiving. Cynthia loves to bake Christmas cookies as gifts for family and friends. We also always go looking at Christmas lights displays around town. On Christmas day we open our gifts from one another together and then we alternate going to our parents homes to celebrate with them.

Our Home

Our Home Sweet Home

We recently built a new home and moved in earlier this year. We reside outside a small south Texas town, nestled on a one acre lot. We have a three bedroom, 2 bath home with an office as well. It's about a fifteen minute drive into town. So it is not too far from everything we need and only 20 minutes from where Christian's father and youngest brother live. Deer and other wildlife roam freely through the neighborhood. It is not rare for us to see small herds of deer crossing the road and through our backyard. Our new home is spacious and cozy at the same time and is just waiting to welcome home a new addition to our family. There is plenty of space for a child to play inside or outside and they will have their own room to call their own. The neighborhood also has two lakes for fishing and boating, several playgrounds, and two community pools that we enjoy regularly! Christian loves to fish and is excited to take the children fishing with him when they are old enough.

When we were deciding where we wanted to build our forever home, our first priority was for our future children. We wanted a place they could run around and play and have great schools for a good education. We feel like we found that in the area that we now live in. And for us, we both grew up in a near by town so it's special to us to raise our children here too! We love the small town feeling and sense of community that we've gotten while living here.

It is a great community that we live in. There's the county fair that we go to each year and want to take our kids to experience. They will LOVE the county fair parade and hopefully participate in it one day. We've had great memories there as a family and want to continue with our own family. We want to see the excitement on their face when they ride the carnival rides, pet and feed the goats in the petting zoo, and get their first taste of cotton candy and funnel cake! There's also several other festivals in the area that we would love to take them to during the summer time and at Christmas time.

We are definitely into being a part of the community and believe that when we have our little family of three we will be very involved. There are tons of parks, and the beach isn't too far away either. We also have a church that we attend regularly and are excited to bring up our child with a sense of faith they will be proud of. But honestly, whatever they choose to believe in we will support them no matter what.

Final Thoughts

All Things Considered...

We hope you find in us what you are looking for. That we will be the best choice for your child and you can rest easy knowing that we will put everything into their happiness and well being. You will never have to wonder about them and will be included in their life through pictures and letters to and from your child. We want our future child to know they came from a place of love and the reason they are with us is because of you and your love for them. And we would let them know that you considered every avenue available and came to the best decision possible for them. To us, adoption is all about love for a child, on your part and ours, and we are coming together to build a new future for them that you will feel most comfortable with. Thank you for considering us and we hope to meet you soon! Love, Cynthia & Christian
