Love draws us close
Our love grew out of friendship. We met at church 15 years ago, and grew closer over game night and mountain hikes. After knowing each other for a couple of years, our shared faith and commitment to family brought us even closer and we knew we wanted to build a life together.
In 2018 we welcomed our son James, but due to complications with his birth, we are unable to have more biological children. Growing up, each of our families were touched by adoption, so we knew adoption was for us.
About Renn (Written by Aaron): Renn is a kind woman who cares for those around her. She has a heart for serving the community and helping others feel included. I appreciate Renn’s caring nature, and how she is always looking for ways to love for those around her by bring them flowers, grabbing lunch together or just sending a note to show she cares. And, Renn is a GREAT mom. She has such love and kindness for our son, and takes such joy in making him laugh and teaching him new things.
About Aaron (Written by Renn): Aaron has such a deep faith and a tender heart. He selflessly serves those around him, and always goes out of his way to make others feel special. He is always there to celebrate the good times, and encourage me during the hard times. He is creative, thoughtful and kind. Best of all, Aaron is a fantastic dad! He is so hands on and patient with our son and loves to read books with James, teach him to garden and explore the community together.
Adoption makes us family, and we can't wait to get to know you better. We know how we are connected might change over time - sometimes pictures and cards will feel right, other times visits and calls will draw us together, and other times our thoughts and prayers might be the only thing that connect us. We are open to whatever kind of relationship you are comfortable with before and after you give birth, even if that means no contact at all. No matter what, we promise you the following:
Mama, we promise your child will be loved unconditionally.
We promise to teach them to be kind, curious and brave.
We promise to read to them every night and laugh together every day.
We promise to instill a sense of awe and wonder about God.
We promise to teach them to bake, garden and play.
But most of all, we promise to honor you, and always speak of you with love and respect.
