The helping hand of Legacy Adoption Services
Through every step of the process, Legacy Adoption Services will offer you a helping hand. You are significant to us, and it is important that you do not feel alone through your unplanned journey. There are three ways we extend to you helping hands.
The helping hand of financial support
Sometimes is it difficult to make financial ends meet, and with an unplanned pregnancy the need for funds can appear even more daunting. Yet, with an adoption plan in place you may be entitled to receive financial assistance for your pregnancy related living expenses. * Some of those expenses include but are not limited to:
- Rent and Utilities
- Food
- Maternity clothing
- Transportation
- Medical
- And much more…
*State, federal and local laws determine the amount of financial assistance that Legacy Adoption Services and an adoptive family may provide for you.
The helping hand of counseling and experience
Adoption should never be a decision considered alone. At Legacy we want to make you feel understood and valued. We want to hear your dreams and expressed desires. Our compassionate team is there to offer you a helping hand. Not only do we provide an adoption support system, but there is a counselor specifically for you. We are here to discuss your parenting options, help you choose the type of adoption you desire, and help you discover what is going to be best for your child’s life.
With love and respect, we are committed to calming your fears and speaking honestly to you as you express your feelings and emotions. Some of our team has first-hand experience with adoption and want you know that you are not alone.
The helping hand of education and resources
We consider your life and future to be important. Even after your baby’s placement, we are committed to help connect you to the proper resources or make referrals to the services you may need. Some resources included but are not limited to:
- Job placement
- GED assistance
- Counseling
- Childcare
Our goal is to be available and help you sort through the decisions for what is right for you and your baby’s life. To learn more about the services we provide, please contact a Legacy Adoption Services Counselor at (817) 899-5000.
