In spite of several years of unsuccessful fertility treatments we knew we wanted a family and soon realized adoption was the path for us.

We adopted a son 4 years ago and always wanted to adopt a second child. We were referred to Legacy Adoption Agency by the president of our local Adoption Group. Tina at Legacy was a blessing to us. She walked us through the process step by step and was always available when we needed her. Shortly after working with Legacy we got the call that we had been waiting for, we had been matched with a birth mother.

We are blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know the birth parents. Our birth mother was so wonderful and included me in the birth process. I was able to go with her to the doctor and was also given an experience I will never be able to have for myself, I was present at the birth. It was a true miracle and I am blessed to have been a part of it. We spent the next few days in the hospital with the birth parents and our new daughter. It gave us the opportunity to see their true love for their child first hand. We are so impressed with the selflessness and depth of their love for their child. We recognize the weight of their decision, but feel blessed to be the family they chose.

We are grateful to Legacy Adoption Agency, both for helping us complete our family and for Tina who was always helpful and caring. We feel that Tina works so well with birth parents and with adoptive parents. She showed concern and respect for all throughout the process.
